The annual fiestas of Moors and Christians 2010 begins on the 5th June with a contest of paellas at the Beach Park, don’t miss the International Music Festival to be held on Sunday the 6th June at 19.00 h at the castle, and other events throughout the week including the English Church Choir performing at Moraira Church on Tuesday the 8th. The “battle” between the Moors and Christians begins on the evening of Thursday 10th June with the presentation of the Captains 2010, on Friday the “Offering of the Flowers” at 19.00h followed by the invasion of the Moors on Moraira beach at 23.00 h. On Saturday the Christians will command the retaking of the castle at 19.30 h. and on Sunday don’t miss the spectacular Gala parade through the streets of Moraira starting at 19.00 hrs.
